Meet Emily
With over 35 years’ experience, Emily has been at the forefront of Pilates teaching in both equipment studios and mat practice across London and internationally.
Emily was first introduced to Pilates during her eight years of elite vocational training with The Royal Ballet and English National Ballet. Throughout this formative period, she experienced multiple injuries and was advised by doctors that she may struggle to walk by the age of 40 if she continued to dance.
From Student to Teacher
Pilates became transformative in her recovery, restoring strength, balance, and resilience to her body, an experience that inspired her to train as an instructor with Alan Herdman Pilates, qualifying in 2000.
She became a BASI-qualified Pilates teacher in 2004 and is now a BASI Senior Faculty member and Examiner. Emily has travelled extensively to teach BASI teacher training programmes in cities including London, Paris, Istanbul, Dublin, Amsterdam, Dubai, South Korea, and Japan.BASI Pilates Senior Faculty Member

She brings empathy, insight and adaptability to every client relationship.

Beyond the Studio
Outside the studio, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their French Bulldog - a lively household that brings her constant joy.
